This week was crazy; some horrible things happened [like for esther's family] but it was also pretty eventful in a good way far from what happened.

A few days ago, on Saturday, my family & I went out to the city, shopping at myers & westfield & eventually buying nothing with the $140 worth myer gift card mum had so we went to a korean restaurant for kalgugsu & bbq. then morning glory & easyway; an asian weekend we did have. Before going shopping & all that [like eating dinner], dad drove through usyd to try & inspire me which worked. he graduated from there, doing med, & everyone wants his footsteps to be followed. not necessarily, usyd but definitely becoming a doctor. that's hard but it's the same goal i have anyway, no rebel here.

Anyways, back to going out; but being in the city made it so much more special if you know what i mean. I'm so lucky to have my family with me but i don't treat them as well as i appreciate them. if i lost them, i'd be devastated but them being right here makes me happy & grateful but not quite enough so treat them well enough. It was half raining & it was pretty fun with the fresh air & everything, the chewing on jelly & tea, eating steamy noodles, half dancing through traffic lights, restraining dad from jaywalking, walking through hotels [like the ones we've been in before so many times, the westin & four seasons], taking photos of mum & sarah without them seeing, buying soft toy bananas from morningglory because mum loves bananas & was happy to find them. chewing gum as usual on the way home as well.
