today was great , it's supposed to be 10:30 but daylight savings so now i'm going into midnight technically
so yeah in the morning, i did some maths [like not a lot at all] & then went out with my family, i think the highlight of my day were definitely the car rides. my family are probably the only people who can make me angry or cry but they're the ones who matter the most. i just don't get that personal with friends, even though ily guys too (:
so we were planning on going to that thai resturant in the piazza but somewhere along the way, they were like "ohh maybe yum cha would be better".
& then mum & dad got into this massive arguement about whether there was too much traffic near castle towers. my dad was aruging that all the cars around us, all the traffic, were all going to towers & there wasn't going to be any parking spaces left. mum was like 'are you serious...'. & me & sarah were facepalming. so dad got pissed & drove to towers just to prove to us. ofc, not all the cars were going to towers so we all started laughing for no reason, & dad was like 'humphh fine', but yeah we had to go to castle towers piazza. but we had to go to church afterwards because of some meeting so we got in & sat down & i love thai so i wanted to eat but then we decided there wouldn't be enough time so we had to leave.
so we got takeaway sushi instead, & tried to eat it in the parking lot, in the car. it got messy. LOL like mum dropped a sushi between a car seat so dad had to spend 15min getting it out. it was hilarious, he got it out piece by piece, glaring at my mum who was looking all innocently/apologetically at him, eating her sushi contently. ahahah, eventually, we went to church, on the way with many conversations involving ruse, & how our grade would scare sarah when she comes next year & i swear sarah has a brilliant sense of humour. i'm so proud of her sometimes. ohh but when we got to church, we found out the meeting was cancelled so we sacrificed thai food & had the whole sushi drama for no reason. we found at from this family at church who was making lunch for the church tomorrow. their daughter [grace] is like 5 or something & so cute.
this is basically how it went
grace: i'm a pretty princess. -to me- you're a pretty princess too. -to sarah- & you're a ninja !
me- aww,,
sarah [shocked look of indignance]- & i'm the ninja ?? :OO

then back in the car she was kidding ofc but she kept going 'why am i the ninja huh ?! she only calls people she doesn't like a ninja'. i think it scarred her deeply.

dad was annoyed because he'd brought up the idea of the meeting apparently but they postponed it to a day he had work. so, naturally, to cheer him up, his darling daughters made a song for him

me: if you're happy & you know it clap your hands
sarah: i'm so sad
me: if you're happy & you know it clap your hands
sarah: i'm depressed
me: if you're happy & you know, you really ought to show it, if you're happy & you know it clap your hands
sarah: i'm depressed

we always do random songs in the car that never really make any sense, yeah.. then to cheer dad up [really], i suggested going to the library so getting out of the house wasn't a total waste. LOL that ended in another minor arguement between mum & dad whether the library was open or not. they were fully about to make a bet with $500 stakes but then mum realised dad gives her all the money anyway. ahh anyways, it was open [so technically mum won] but there was no parking space so we had to go home anyway.
but i didn't think it was a waste. it was a hilarious family drive with a billion you-had-to-be-there moments. i love them so much.
when we got home, sarah sang 'just the way you are' again by computer kareoke then i tutored her a few questions on maths [just easy algebra problem solving] but she just started dr lee & is getting the hang of it,
i went early to doctorlee because sarah was there & got about 1.5 hrs of maths in before catherine came. then we did a little more with catherine failing [xP] at the few yearly questions so we both got frustrated & went out to eat potato scallops. thank you, will pay you back.
then 3 hour lesson. i think we went psycho. like dr lee was giving examples on conditional probability & was asking us all the reasons why harry [this yr10 guy in our class] didn't bring his umbrella. i don't know why it was funny but drlee went all random, like all the reaosns why he didn't bring his umbrella & we were just bursting out laughing. i didn't know why he was rambling, ahh lame but funny. especially rena, she couldn't stop laughing. ahh anyways, the last hour was spent half paying attention to circle geo & half dedicated to drawing frogs. MINE WAS THE BEST (:
but rena drew an ugly wife frog for him & ruined it :(

ohh what else then we had to wait 30 min for simon to finish so me & catherine had an arm wrestle. i still can't beat her with 2 hands [even when she's using left] but i can beat her with body weight (: whatever, i'll be buffer than miss africa one day [according to catherine, she's really buff].
then got home, ate dinner [mum & dad packed it as take away from the soondooboojighe place in epping] & watched rugrats to paris, I RECKON IT IS A FREAKING GENIUS MOVIE. so for kids but also really entertaining & funny, like adults wouldn't get bored. i love it, so cute.
