hello
i know it's in the middle of exam period but it's only yr9 & i'm going to try & everything, i'm just not going to go overboard.on the weekends, i did nonstop maths. i'm trying really hard after my huge deproving in halfyearlies so i hope it really pays off
so yesterday [monday] was my mum's birthday & even though she won't read this;
happy birthday mum ! i love you very much (: hope you had an amazing birthday, you mean the world to me ...i really meant what i said in the card & i couldn't be more lucky to have you as my mum.
x3
so as mentioned in one of my previous posts, my sister & i made a surprise myergift card present, bought flowers & sneaked them in. I FOUND MY POLAROID CAMERA lfajhpjapedjhfaphyj;dfhj;
I WAS SO HAPPY. so we snapped a luvo of ourselves, decorated it with a message & put it in the flowers for mum to find tomorrow. it was the tiny break from studying & it felt good that yearlies hadn't taken away my whole life, i still spent a few hours with my family at least. dad got her books on love and the four seasons of marriage & cd which none of us were expecting LOL
so after the big morning, i decided to be sneaky & get to the library early to get a little more maths in but it turns out like 15 people had the same idea (: so me, jo, sarah, maddie, celia, & brittany revised loudly/hyperventilated/stressed like crazy. but when i did it, i was surprisingly calm & i thought i did really well which is extremely douchy & conceited of me but wait for it, after i found out i got at least 6 marks off. but at least i could do all the questions ! haha whatever, i've learnt that it's not the end of the world [even though i literally can't stop talking about it].
ohh & a few friends were stressed about it after- so a message to you; don't worry about it, it's nothing to cry over, trust me. i said this already but i really bet you did better than you think you did & if you didn't, remember do your best & God will do the rest !
i mean, there'll be times when all of us need to be told this & i'm definitely not blaming her because i think i'd feel like that too but really, yr9, hsc, anything really, this whole life is for only one purpose. & that purpose isn't for ourselves & definitely not to beat everyone in maths. ruse people live for success, live for ambition, live to prove people wrong, way too much & they do what they do for sometimes the wrong reasons. i do that often.
LET'S GET OUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT; & i know we'll all learn that the hard way.
i still have to learn it. but we'll get through it *encouraging nod*
after maths exam, & after school for that matter, i followed sarah to her swimming lesson where mum & i just talked & she said the card we wrote her made her smile all day. it made me realise how small messages once in a while can keep a person going. even those anonymous "you are beautiful" notes can get to someone. i know when i was frantically mathing away, i wrote like million notes for myself like "you can do it" & "don't let anything get you down". LOL like those diet things only i was eating heaps & trying to get fit in like,, maths. gross, i never knew i could get this nerdy..
finished 4 exams [maths, commerce, french speaking & geo] so far & feeling ok about all of them. i really can't wait until this week is over. FREEDOM (:
HAVE FUN EVERYONE;
ahh, cramming time ~
