My goodnesss- castle hill shootings
http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/officers-shoot-and-kill-man-outside-castle-hill-police-station-20110929-1kyl8.html

Yes. In Castle Hill. THAT IS LIKE THE MOST DANGEROUS THING TO HAVE HAPPENED IN THE BORING SUBURBAN HILLS AREA FOR LIKE 20 YEARS.

So yeah, went to Towers [upon mum's suggestion] with mum, Sarah and grandma and grandma & I shared a kebab because she knows the owner from Tafe English class and we had lunch, shopped a little for shoes and went to buy leggings and then the fitting room lady comes and tells us that there's been a shooting. And we look cluelessly at her while she goes to spread the news to other customers and think nothing of it. But then we find out it happened right outside Towers after we realise most of the car park has suddenly emptied, with cars suddenly draining out of it. Honestly, there wasn't a lockdown or much panic in the shopping centre but apparently, everyone who was in the library screamed when they heard the gun shot [thinking it was a massacre]. I was FMLing because it took literally half and hour to get out of the car park because police were blocking off the roads and it took a freaking hour to get home [it usually takes 10 minutes, tops]. It was horrible but exciting news and I know for most of you who don't live in Baulko/Castle Hill, you're going 'cool story bro' but it was the first time that anything like that's happened so close to where I live and especially where I was at the time; the one time I decide to go out this holidays like a little loser. I was also randomly pointing out the window at passerbys going "SUSPECT #1", "FRICK, they're going to get caught soon" and generally acting really annoying which I believe is my secret talent. But yes, so strange to be a place that I actually know and cannot believe that someone who was alive (but admittedly murderous) this morning is not alive now. Death is strange to think about.

Afterwards, went to Dr. Lee where I chatted more about this strange occurrence with Sarah, abandoning our circle geometry and going on about how Castle Hill police finally did something for the first time in a decade  or so. I shall stop ranting about this.

Random note:

For anyone who has read "The Other Boleyn Girl", read "The Queen's Fool" and pretty much the other Philippa Gregory books.

For anyone who has not read "The Other Boleyn Girl", read "The Other Boleyn Girl", "The Queen's Fool" and pretty much the other Philippa Gregory books.

my awesome sister
What my sister came to say to me just 2 seconds ago, "do you want to come over and bother mum?".

Ahaha I was just about to dedicate this post to her in case in a few years, she loses all her humour and awesomeness so I can smile upon these fond memories of her as a retarded 12 year old. I can hear her randomly bursting out laughing like a retard next door. Sorry, will elaborate later. have to go bother mum.

* Here is the elaboration as promised.

I will arrange this as a Ruse style report. Refer to Star Trek if you don't know Spock.

FIRSTLY THE CODE.

The Spock Handshake:
Carried out in times of complete serious agreement where a deal is required to be consummated and confirmed.

The Spock High five:
Carried out in times of pride-worthy awesomeness when one or the other has said something completely awesome.

Refer to "A Very Potter Musical" when Ron snaps his hands at Ginny and goes "RACIST SISTER", yeah we just do that at each other whenever we feel like it but with different adjectives. Like Sarah was annoying mum and I was trying to help mum so Sarah glared at me and snapped her hands, going "SYMPATHIZING SISTER".

We also re-enacted Harry Potter [even using "Hedwig's theme" as background music] with The Littlest Pet Shop toys. Confession of a nerd from the very core. Also watched "The House Bunny"; Emma Stone <3 so so funny [HOW FAR CAN YOU THROW?].

Sarah also has this lame hobby of playing Tetris battle with complete strangers over the internet so I rolled my eyes and said I could do so much better and then failed, also sort of gave up and ended up losing on purpose as well, causing my sister's stats to go down or whatever. So she basically had a seizure and tried to claw/kill me because I lost stars for her or something on her Tetris battle account. I also then reminded mum that Sarah hasn't brushed her teeth and made her go do it. So as we were brushing our teeth, I could feel someone watching me and realised Sarah was death glaring me and muttering/shrieking "First my tetris battle and now this, you've just got to ruin everything for me, don't you?!".

I will really miss these days, maybe we can always be this immature and happy, unaware of ever being normal.

just watched "The First Knight" with my mum and sister
I don't know if I'm just really cynical or annoying but I had to point out every part of that movie that was cliche to the point that it was part of the old romances, completely unrealistic and made fun of how valiant they acted. It was so fun watching it with my mum and sister because Sarah either laughed with me and mum agreed with me or they both glared at me for ruining their viewing experience. I remember watching it in History in year 8 and thought pretty much the same things. It was so funny at times, like the fail security of the Camelot castle and how retarded the romance was [they talked to each other like twice before confessing their undying love for each other]. I think deep down I really love the idea of old legends, real education of culture, poetry and history, knights and royals and honour [reader of Philippa Gregory] but there were so many parts of it I like to mock as well. I was so high afterwards, laughing and screaming whenever I tripped over something, and my mum and sister looked upon with wtf expressions. My mum classifies it as "sa-chung-gi" which is sort of like puberty but I blame it on natural lunacy. Anyway, I really want to study science, not mindless technical HSC science, but the science that works with arts, history and the "ways of the world".

Yeah, you probably should stop reading this before your already low opinion of me decreases to unprecedented levels. Goodbye, planning on mathing it out these holidays !

My dear sister
Today my sister and I shot hoops, yesterday played Littlest Pet Shops. Still little kids.

Haha today she wrote a secret message with the white pen that you can only see the writing under blue light, it went 'Dear Grace, I ♥ U.. even though you're ugly" LOL (:

Some time last year, my parents took Sarah and I to see Wicked. It was the first and best musical I'd ever seen. Seriously beautiful.

i want that room, victorian style, beauty&thebeast manor, large library.
Simple, not cluttered but incredibly wealthy and grand at the same time in an antique sort of way. I also like the idea of a safe place where if a gunman happens to come in, they won't be able to find anything- secret staircases, hidden doors, secured high gates. Don't know why I need to hide or run but it's nice, right?

My cousin [James], who's usually a very cool kid, was cyerbulling so I had to wrestle him to the ground while my sister typed an apology, "I'm sorry, I love you, let's be friends" LOL, I think he's going to get bashed at school. We then had to hide the laptop to stop him from insulting, swearing and then we gave him a lesson on morals and manners. My sister was hilarious- she was acting like some hippie and kept going on about peace and love. But underneath all the wrestling, joking and laughing, I was really disappointed in him and I'm going to be sad if he turns into someone who thinks it's alright to hate and hurt someone from behind a computer screen. Before Sarah came to be funny and like a retarded but cool mentor, I was listening to James typing from the other room and he says everything he types out loud so it was really funny.

James- TAKE THAT, YOU SMELLY INDIAN FARMER.
-silence where I assume the guy he was insulting called him racist or something-
James- Huh? What the hell is rackist? LEARN ENGLISH DUMBSHIT.
Me [facepalm]- It's pronounced racist!

Also, the kid he was raging at is apparently related to Zyzz in some way so it went something like this..

James- HUH? WHO THE HELL IS ZYZZ? What does it mean I'm just 'mirin' his aesthetics?
Me- that means admiring his looks and yeah..
James (completely ignoring me)- Zyzz, huh ? I could bash his brother's friend anyday.
Me- HE'S DEAD.

-After a long time-
Me- James, freaking grow up, stop being such a coward.
-James looks enlightened-
Me- Hey, maybe you're starting to understand .
James- That's a good one! -typing- YOU.. ARE.. A.. COWARD
- I facepalm further-

Then after a while I got so sick of him insulting that I sent him a facebook message because talking to him in real life doesn't work but he ignored that as well. He thought I was getting offended at the swearing which was just so wrong but I didn't know how to explain to him that swearing your head off through the computer is the lowest act of cowardice ever. So I had no choice but to lecture him and confiscate the laptop at which point Sarah came back from tutoring and helped me force him away and then we locked him out and typed apologies and messages of reconciliation on his behalf .There was so much funniness but I was trying not to laugh to make him understand how much of an idiot he was being but apparently he didn't understand because he searched my room to find the laptop to send more "I hate you"s and kept muttering "he started it". So yeah, how to make kids only a little younger than you understand what they're doing is wrong when they clearly think they know everything? So hard when they're smart but also dumb. He was sitting on the spinny chair and so I pressed the lever that makes the chair go down and kept saying "Don't do it, you're sinking lower and lower and lower" and pressed the lever each time so he kept going down. It didn't work.

Sarah seemed so grown up compared to him that it was one of the rare moments I was proud of my sister (': So many high fives when we tried to go "let's all be happy and eat cake and rainbows" in a serious way. James kept calling the guy he was bullying an STI/blue waffles and Sarah was so cute and was like "what's that?" even though she's older and so I had to awkwardly explain and then she talked to the guy, pretending to be James. "Sorry man about earlier, I meant to offer you blueberry pancakes, I guess it was a typo". SO FAIL but we did our best. I seriously hope he gets the message- also he was skyping his primary school girlfriend at the same time so she saw everything I think. So much teasing about week-long relationships and kissing in treehouses. We then freakily stalked her on facebook.

2 weeks of hardcore studying I'm afraid so hopefully, you won't see me until we're all out of yearlies but I'll probably be back on here tomorrow. I feel so unmotivated and that's the worst feeling in the world to me so I shall have to start studying.

Today was fun, geo and comm party followed by eating the teachers' last day feast leftovers like hobos and watching the Frontline episodes we made, pretty cool day but so tiring. I swear holidays come just when we need them most- I feel sorry for America.

DOFE HIKE NEXT WEEK, SUPER EXCITED.

bro
Just rereading the post I just posted. I think I have ADHD.

last day for year 12s, movies, miranda kerr
I wonder what memories I'll have held onto in a few years ? Probably would have forgotten about everything I'm doing now, which is watching movies online. I've watched "Barbie Princess Charm School", "Marie Antoinette" & "Friends with Benefits". ALL VERY GOOD MOVIES; I recommend.

I hung with my sister a lot- tonnes of stupid conversations about what we're supposed to say about each other in public. We always just say each other is retarded and we wish we were an only child but now it's more complicated because, going to the same school and knowing some of the same people, we decided on guidelines.

Me- Basically, just tell the truth- we get along alright.
Sarah-...but we don't...
Me (slaps)- YES, WE DO.
Sarah- okay, okay, but what happens.. because my friends like to bitch about their siblings. Yeah, what if they're saying this stuff and I have nothing to contribute ?
Me (slaps again)- I DON'T CARE.

Today, we had a half-surprise birthday party for Jess in C2.7 where we applauded Cosco for the gigantic but $28 cake before we sung happy birthday to her, ahah so great just hanging with our grade. I could probably not have more school pride which is sad but also satifying for me. It was lovely, trying to figure out how to use the nerf gun, taking photos, eating cake, randomly floating about. Gah, I don't want to type anymore.. Nothing much has been happening to be honest, well except for the usual, and it is worth remembering but not enough for me to extend my fingers to the keyboard and write it all out, you know ?

OH WAIT, there is one thing.

On Sunday, it was thanksgiving day so all of us brought in a piece of fruit and there was SYNC night performances. The idea was that we give thanks to God no matter what and with every part of us- our eyes, our hands, our feet. And so there was a performance for each part of the body. Most I remember was the modelling show for the hips [showing off all different uniforms in our church; cooking aprons, the finger dance done by the middle-aged dudes who were just randomly dancing with their fingers, parking usher, youth group t shirt], the bellydancing for the stomach done by 50-something year old ladies- SO GOOD LOL, the arm wrestling championships for the muscles and more. I would say something about how inspiring it is to see all people of our church come together to give thanks and put talents together to offer something but really it was just freaking entertaining.

Also, my mother likes to sing fake opera in the car and Sarah and I frequently join to create a beautiful harmony of supergrossness. My dad likes to watch David Attenborough-esque shows.. ALL THE TIME.

Yesterday [Monday] was the last year 12 assembly, a bunch of performances [including Miranda Kerr's message !] and the final roll call. Everyone was like "when we have our assembly, we'll have nothing because we've got no talent & nothing can top Miranda Kerr. It was so depressing and I felt weighed down the rest of the day from not only the idea of them leaving but that everyone I knew that made up Ruse seems to be going slowly and soon our grade is going to be the oldest- can you believe that such an awesome grade is being replaced by midgets ? I just can't imagine that at all, the feeling was similar to mid-life crisis- I think the way Sarah described it is perfect; a sort of I don't know where I'm going, where are the older people, what is happening, why does time go so fast.. all that meshed together until I feel like just curling up into a foetal position and waiting to grow younger. I think it might work.

Since I don't want to end with such a depressing train of thought (:

getting way too lazy
Went buffet with Suren, Michael, Ding & Suren's mum- lots of food, a little shiftiness and football in Toys R Us, getting fat, being sped, the usual. SO MUCH FOOD.

guilty
I know not everyone who says, “Stop being so sensitive” comes from a place of privilege, but the phrase “Stop being so sensitive” comes from the place of ultimate privilege. It comes from a place where no one has ever erased your identity and experiences. It comes from a place where your concerns are taken seriously and the concerns of others not like you are dismissed as secondary. It comes from a place where you haven’t thought about and acknowledged the fundamental humanity in every other person, regardless of race, sex, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, gender orientation, or disability. It comes from a thoughtless place.

it might seem self-explanatory
But everything is so much easier when you stay hopeful, trust me.

craving buttered popcorn jellybeans !
I haven't posted lately purely because I ceebs to login with my megalong password.
What have I been up to ? You probably haven't been wondering, I've got no photos for most things I do but I sould carry around a camera because I'm too lazy to recount everything all the time. I wish you could just blink and you could snapshot moments, the effort you could save. Thus, because I'm that much of a sloth, I haven't done much anyway.

Friday- played a lot of "Surviving High School", LOL so lame but addictive. During which, I also decided my future children shall be named Aurora and Dumbledore. I don't really remember much, to be honest. I think I tried to study and failed. OH WAIT, year 10 Formal Sausage Sizzle. I was the douche in a sandwich board [which was made with pain] who only managed to convince like 3 people to buy stuff. It was embarrassing but good fun & I'd do it again (: I also got a free sausage for it, thanks Ding.

Saturday- math, math, math, oh then went to grandparents' [dad's side] house with strange cousin James and ate samgyupsul like good little Koreans. Mum stresses so much whenever it comes to her in-laws, so much more uptight so we have to be really quiet and patient in case she snaps. It's like in-law PMS or something- Sarah and I exchanged looks so often yesterday but then we saw the food, & we were like: 8) 8) 8) <33
Oh and also my uncle's giving me his Blackberry, FINALLY a new phone after like 4 years. It was superawkward because I couldn't tell if he was joking or not so I must've come off as the most spoilt and ungrateful niece ever .

And the whole week, I've been stalking tumblrs, formspringing, facebooking, being annoying, yeah. I don't even care if you don't care about everything I've been doing, dear reader, it's my blog and I've got nothing worth pondering or d&ming about. I came to the realisation that I just don't have the motivation to be serious about anything though so I decided to just have fun which I won't regret [except when it comes to like the HSC or something eheh, but even that can wait]. During commerce, Emily, Celia & I made our own clothing brand called "Emelia Grace"; see what we did there ?? (:

Today- Church, sitting this stupid pointless test that will take up time I need to study French & go become an astronaut, first part at least true. I ALSO NEED TO DO SCIENCE. What a waste.. seriously. My mum's on the SBS channel, discovering that it broadcasts kpop for the first time and she's super excited, my mother is so lovely.

ALSOOOO, I remember in year 7 church camp, I was in LOLOMGROFL

LOL- Love Our Lord
OMG- Our Mighty God
ROFL- Reach Out For Light

Since then there have been a few new additions.

FML- Fill Me Lord [credits to Esther & co.]
WTF- With the Father [I take credits for this one]
LMAO- Love my Awesome Owner/Omega

If you got anymore, please tell me !

Been on a lot of Harry Potter blogs and have to say, I know it wouldn't have worked but I ship, maybe not Draco and Hermione, but definitely Tom Felton+Emma Watson. Youtube them, LOLOL my sister's friend found me watching them and she facepalmed. I love them two togerther, it's grossly Romeo & Juliet and thus, cliche, but it still gives off such a great aura. Hell yeah, check out their smiles.

Even if they weren't a couple.. HOW IT SHOULD HAVE ENDED.

Also I love Disney movie trailers; like Disney Memoirs of Geisha, The Other Boleyn Girl, Mean Girls. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jU9KpSx1ZTY; awesomesauce.

LOL I don't blame you. If I were you, I'd want to punch me too.

Anyway, going to go and jump on Sarah to wake her up. GOODBYE.

Friday, September 9, 2011
today was quite da fun
At around 11, Sarah's friend, Shirley, came over. So they went off quietly and hung while I tried to study.
Then we had sausage sizzle for lunch and mum was trying to make the convo less awkward because Sarah just doesn't talk/act weird when other people are around ! Even if they're her own friends.

Then, uhh ceebs. Going to do this tomorrow.

But basically hung and ate Pho and jellybeans with Catherine, Samuel & Joe [with Nathan for a bit of the first bit]. Elaborate later [LOL because of formspring, elaborate has become a normal word :L]

Ohh, also I spent the last hour or so making a sandwich board to advertise the YEAR 10 FORMAL SAUSAGE SIZZLE. I'm seriously not being selfish or anything but I'll get pretty annoyed if someone tries to take it and hog it, wearing it all day I mean, because it took so much effort and normally I don't mind but if I spent this time making it, I want to wear it haha :D

when you suddenly realise how shallow you are after pretending to be
Everything seems so simple and stupid from my eyes but maybe when I'm not watching and I'm actually a part of it, it will seem complicated and real. Life that is. But right now, yeah, it looks pretty simple and stupid to me.

Someone answer this for me; I laugh and smile so easily and find it hardest to cry or at least show I'm sad- does that mean I'm happy? Maybe it's just like everyone says and I'm heartless/hormoneless, those explanations are funnier and even easier to understand.

Basically, it doesn't feel like I've grown up at all except for the fact that I'm aware of it and it's strange. Maybe this is the awkward phase. I always need a distraction, something to focus on, something to work towards, something to waste time on [which is why so many teenagers spend time on the internet I think], so I forget about it.

A few lovely friends read these weird, awkward posts and think I'm depressed. This is probably one of them and I'm not but thank you for worrying (: It's just what happens when I stop remembering what happened today.

:(
It's saddening how uneventful my life is but I usually make up the excuse that I can't go out or do anything because something else needs to be done. But instead, I spend all my time on the internet, being totally unproductive and start moping about how uneventful it is. It's like a cycle of boredom, something that should be done and isn't, wasting away. That's probably why I always feel like I need to be working towards something, like a goal or whatever, but honestly, I just need to get my priorities straight.

-END OF SELFISH RANT-

I don't have much to talk about, I suppose more eating out and family dinner at grandparents' [dad's side] house; bossam yumyum.

Yeah, then I came home and did nothing, saying I needed to do something but, in the end, never doing it.
