Being a freaking genius
My dad told me that being a "freaking genius" does not mean they live up to their potential. It's a pretty obvious statement but when you think further into it, it means that just so many gifted people aren't contributing to the world at all. They'll just pass through unnoticed & being known as much will die with the people who know it. So, my unicorns, the moral of the story is not exactly to make history but to make a difference in short & use the most of what you have. And yes, we had this conversation on the way to Office Works. Love my dad.BUT WHAT ELSE HAS BEEN UP?
- Won't say anything about school or study. That's self-explanatory.

- I became someone's left boob today [shout out to Rachel LOLOL] which is a new experience.
- Musical has been quite fun & is quite frankly the only extra thing I've been doing [apart from inner school stuff like SJC & GoGreen].
- Eating has become my hobby.
- BUT I LOVE PEOPLE SO MUCH. Not even kidding. All the people at school make my day & my family are a miracle to me. They're keeping me alive.
- One month till half yearlies !

Stress, eat, stress
Okay, so not much has been happening but a lot of English, Maths, Chem, Phys & Bio. Literally, like a cycle of homework, not completing homework, struggling to find time to study but some highlights are just chilling at school [especially with the awesome free period group], the eat-fests before Dr Lee with pretty much the whole class minus a few but to be honest, I've been crazily stressed. It's not easy at all & I know some people find it really easy to cope with but I'm either way too OCD or lazy at one point or another so I'm never satisfied. It also hit me that assessments are coming up really soon [in a month or so] & I'm nowhere near ready. This is just so it doesn't seem like I've abandoned this. So basically, a lot of eating out, stressing, laughing & smiles purely because of friends & family & this constant anxiety that I never thought would catch up to me. Oh well. I must learn how to not let it get the best of me. I've also been really snappy to my Mum which is really unfair & selfish of me. Wow, simple sentences. Can't even bring any d&m into this. It's just what's been up. I'm not dead (: It's not even procrastination anymore, it's literally budging homework into what time I have & never having enough- SO TIRED. But don't worry, like I said, I'm not dead yet. ALL WILL BE GOOD !

Work experience dinner with Westmead
I got invited to dinner for a Westmead hospital get-to-together on Friday because of work experience & my dad. So Dad picked me up early from Matrix, chyeaah & we walked from a far-away parking space through the rain & finally made it to Millone's Ristorante and Bar where there were about 20-30 people. It was so delicious & I loved catching up with the people who took care of me during work experience & it was really amazing to see where they were know exactly a year later [good luck to the year 10s this year for this week teehee!]. Like, Laura told me last year that she was studying for GAMSATs while working at the medical lab so she could do dentistry & at this dinner, we were celebrating her getting into dentistry & sadly leaving the group. Also, I was yelling at Mary like any annoying 15 year old would for not being married since she's been with her boyfriend for 8-9 years last year & on Friday, she showed me her new engagement ring. It was great to see Professor Manolios, Marina & Steve again as well. My Dad's colleague who I used to know when I was a little kid came to me & she told me about her children now [who I used to play with when I was little :')] & it was really sad to hear that her daughter was depressed but she offered to let me watch in when she consulted patients. It was really eye-opening & inspiring to meet up with the amazing work experience people who took me under their wing last year & also really legendary older people like Vera Bender who was this extremely elderly lady who still works & has been through so much. Also met my Dad's registrar who's in her last year of training to be a specialist & apparently she graduated from Ruse & did work experience at Westmead as well. I got all nostalgic about last year's work experience. It was just awesome to be able to talk to people who I really look up to & want to be like in the future. PLUS, the food was to die for.
& on Saturday was musical rehearsals [it was pretty meh except for the imaginary volleyball we played & the stroking the hair singing the Healing Incantation song from Tangled] & dinner at Won San [changed from Arisan .__.] with Mum & Sarah.
It was quite a lovely weekend.
