Musical Day #1
Thursday with a half-full hall & everyone kind of doesn't know what they're doing but it was major fun anyways. Lots of taking photos & trolling in photos rather than actually doing anything. I'm very happy because I didn't screw up anything tonight which is strange because I'm still not clear about half the choreo. Either way, I'm bound to screw up one of the days [probably the one with most people hehe]. BUT EVERYONE DID SUCH A FANTASTIC JOB & the principals were amaaazing. Melissa, Yive, my sister & I went to Kelly's house before because she said she'd feed us & we played on Wii [making ugly characters, & attempted to make pasta. Melissa & I were illiterate at cooking but expert at eating so they made us stand behind the kitchen bench while they were cooking. My sister was playing against herself on Wii while that was happening. The pasta was very delicious but only Melissa could finish her bowl & still eat more. Yive was pretty nervous but she was a brilliant lead & will be for the coming nights. We got to school, dressed & caked make-up & hairspray on. I think I have a love/hate relationship with make-up because I realize it makes me look like I have eyes but it also scares me because it's like foreign powder & black stuff all over your face. Does not compute why someone would put it on willingly. The actual musical was great. Anyways, I'm sorry for this completely disjointed post but have to go now.

THE END [FOR TODAY].

A mix of musical dressrehearsal, cliched epiphany & true carpe diem
There was musical dress rehearsal today. Pretty fun with everyone going insane over their dresses, make-up & hair & such even though it was just the rehearsal. It was also fun seeing it all come together somehow & the principals are AMAZING, highly recommended (; I had some regrets about doing it with it eating up some time & everything but I now think that it'll be worth it. It's the last one we can do & being able to do it has made me very thankful. I think I've gotten closer to a couple people & had tonnes of fun because of it too which is better than the musical itself. I think my life would be very dull if I had nothing to look forward to.

Now, onto another thing. I'm pretty sure everyone has had this epiphany frequently, especially in senior years. I've always seen high school as a spectacular place with incredible people [because it's Ruse & we're all just lovely & entirely uncool/ungangster nerds] but I also see it was a temporary place- like the thing that happens before life & the place we stay before we go off into the real world. It's not that I don't love it but it just seems like we're waiting for the future & everything we do now is an investment for tomorrow so we never appreciate it as much as we should. I think of it as some pre-life where we don't do anything, just procrastinate, pull all-nighters to finish assignments, make retarded jokes & dramas & hope for the days when we're all off getting jobs, getting married & making money. But it's actually 6 years of our life. That's a huge part. And, including all the time before and university, we're spending a third of our life just getting ready for.. life? It doesn't make any sense. I just feel like I'm always looking forward to something beyond now but I just assumed that it will better than right now when truthfully I have no idea. Everything will pass if I don't stop & take time to love everyone & everything around me. I think the real reason that people cry at graduation is not only because they'll miss others but because, intrinsically, they realize they've been too busy for everything until the end when it hits them that they don't have a lot of time or chances left. This isn't preparation for anything- it's the real thing & it only happens once on Earth. It scares me.

& that is why they shouldn't give so much homework. We just need time.

Bah, I'm tired.

my ordinary day
Today was a very lazy day with chem & double maths in the morning which I really don't remember doing anything in. Our chemistry prac was dismal after the porcelain cracked because the teacher was like "did you guys forget to sand the magnesium?". & we all shook our heads, pretty sure that one of us did & she went away. Then we all started whispering.

& it kind of went like:
Joseph- Michelle, didn't you do it?
Michelle the flea- ...no, I thought Grace did
Me- Didn't Michelle do it?
Michelle b- What, I didn't, I just rolled it up.
Jimmy- you rolled it up without sanding it?
Everyone- fuaaaaaaaar

So it was sort of a waste of a period after lying to the teacher & breaking the equipment. Double maths was very very very sad because I hate maths. I also hate Catherine. LOL jokes, hate is a very strong word. But I was so tired & leaning against the wall, only to feel this razor sharp edge on my hand & I look down to find her trying to cut my hand. Like.. what the hell. SERIOUSLY CATHERINE. She also wouldn't stop after I asked her very kindly to & in the end, I just ended up daring her, hoping reverse psychology would work, but she continued anyway :( I also didn't understand anything & Woodhouse was raging at our class because we're overly quiet, as in we don't talk at all. I bet he wishes he had maths1 ahahah.

Liz & I went to talk to Connors about the worm farms at recess which was very long & I was rather useless but I gave Liz moral support. Silently.

We got eng back & I was completely ecstatic about it because I thought I literally failed the essay. It was the first one we got back & I got 12 which I know isn't something worth celebrating for everyone else but I was expecting much worse so it was rather nice. 15 for creative which was also pretty cool but I was more happy about essay for some reason because I was expecting so low. My mindset is strange. English results were generally okay.

Lunch- organizing Naidoc week- I think year 10s have greater leadership ability than the year 11s in SJC.

Physics was very uneventful except stupid Nathan trying to write all over my arm & then talking about his crazy admirer/stalker on Angela's formspring who happened to ruin a lot today.

3u english- started reading The Tempest & love the monotone reading that all the guys in the class do contrasted against Mc Fayden's jumping expression. Talked to Liz because we can't relate to Shakespeare but I think she's one of the few people who actually care about English & like it because she's interested rather than for HSC.

Came home & have done nothing so far but eat. I tried to start on perms on combs but got distracted & eventually ended up here. So I'll have to go now & attempt to be productive but I hope this longer-than-usual post makes up for the recent one-sentence posts.

Tomorrow is bio excursion so I don't feel the need to do any work today.

THE END.

Gone, officeworks, bunnings with Dad
It has come to my attention that I should post something here for once that isn't all to do with recounting what I did today. However, my head has been devoid of meaningful thought for quite some time now & that scares me so I'd rather not stare at this blank box & face the fact that I've lost my personality. It's kind of a symbol of how I feel lately- I always need something to be happening, anything small, any activity, whatever jokes, friends or even study, to keep my mind off feeling or thinking about anything deeper. No real experiences or contributions but lots of smiles. It's a comfortable but entirely empty feeling. This is such a laughable problem & not even worth talking about with someone but I can't stand being like this. I have no idea who I am anymore.

So I'm just going to talk about anything. Today, 3-on-3 bball [with Ding & Catherine] which we got thrashed in but that was hilarious because we knew how screwed we were seeing as Bonnie's pretty much a one-man team by herself- what a tank ahah. Lunch, knock out netball trials which I didn't make but that was fine, it was really just fun playing because there's two seasons of basketball now & I really hate bball so I liked playing at lunch. English was pretty funny, just reading King Lear in class & we all suck at reciting because we don't know what the hell they're talking about at all so we're all monotone & calm when the characters are supposed to be in turmoil or furious. Steele got pretty frustrated but she can't blame us- Shakespeare composed it so Asian kids would be stumped. Went with Shang to get pizza before musical & accidentally took her wallet LOL. Musical was musical. Came home & went with Dad to Office Works which seems to be our staple father-daughter quality time location for some very sad reason & just had to get some stuff bound. While we were waiting, Dad dragged me to Bunnings to buy light bulbs & then when we came back to Office Works, he chose to drive up to the roof parking lot to scare me as he mentioned that next week, I would most likely be practising driving up there. Far out, he doesn't realise that I will literally hurtle off the roof if I practise there but I know that if I practise on the roads, all the cats & babies of the world will be in mortal danger. Oh & apparently, according to Dad, an extension of the Mayan calendar was discovered which means that the world won't end in 2012 & so all my insurance is gone. HSC will simply have to be faced. Thanks a lot, Mayans.

Also, Esther told me she was stalking my blog & felt special when mentioned.

SO HI ESTHER :D

Crinitis, churros, rugrats
I felt terrible for some reason but didn't want to show it which sort of made me just want to go home even more & then someone got mad at me & stormed off for something which tbh, I was indifferent about but it did lead me talk to someone else about how I felt for once & I don't know, it was a first that anyone actually listened to me or even noticed I wasn't alright so it was really nice. I don't know- don't want to get involved in anything at all. Sorry for being so vague but I was just tired I guess. Family made me feel better again with dinner at Criniti's which is the best- scallops, ravioli, steak, lamb, enough to make anyone cry for joy. Sarah & Dad had churros as takeaway from Chocolateria San Churro for the first time which was fantastically delicious but Mum wasn't feeling well again.

I love my sister. She's my best friend. She just made everything better today & I love how she isn't one of those bratty siblings that other people have to deal with & she's the furthest from pretentious you can get which is a lovely change from everyone else, including myself. I'm so damn proud of her for being who she is. She keeps me in check & tells me when I'm being a tool. She guessed that I wasn't myself today & didn't mention anything but cracked the most retarded jokes as she usually does &, like the lame children we are, we watched Rugrats on Youtube for like an hour or something. She definitely knows what's up. So, by the end of the day, I was laughing like crazy at the dumbest things & had gotten over the helpless feeling I'd woken up with in the morning.

ALSO DON'T JUDGE ME BECAUSE YOU PROBABLY DON'T FIND THIS FUNNY AT ALL BUT WE LOLED AT THIS FOR SO LONG? Don't even know why but it's sososofunny.

Exam results
In the midst of everyone breaking down & complaining about their results, I'd just like to be an asshole & say that I'm alright with mine. Definitely did not do spectacular, could've done better but then I'd be conceited in thinking that since everyone else could've done better as well. So, for now, I'll just say that I'm happy with my decent results although I think I studied a bit more than I got in chem & phys but I definitely cannot complain. I'll try harder this term. I know a lot of people are sad about their results & I completely understand that but it only takes a moment to take a step back & realise a few things- in the least corny & most practical way possible [you know, aside from the 'your academic results don't determine who you are as a person' speech]. The point is, as a grade, we can't let stupid results from some prelim half yearly get to us otherwise, tbh, you'll never make it through HSC. Seriously, people, heads up & keep going. Not only does this set of exams literally not count for anything but it's really just a practice & an indication of how far you still have to keep going. No one expects to be perfect this time round. Let's get our priorities sorted & just try harder. This is such a small part of our lives that we'll fail to remember in a few years & we get one life so can we please not spend it wailing about some exam mark? Believe you can do it, plan & compete with yourself more than anyone. No point in wasting time dwelling on something that can't be changed now. You've heard it all before but it's a simple truth- there is SO SO SO much more to life. No worries (:

Dedication-almighty Yadhaven
So guys, there’s something I need to tell you. There’s this guy who’s like the awesomest guy in existence. Minstrels sing ballads of his awesomeness and how he single-handedly overthrew the evil empire of Catherinetopia with his left pinky (jokes Catherine ya cool ). I dare not look at his marvellous feet and yet he allows us to gaze upon his glorious face day after day. He is truly the definition and embodiment of splendour and tears involuntarily spring forth from my eyes like a fountain as a shield for the high level of awesomeness a mere mortal cannot withstand. And yet these tears are also tears of pure joy in being able to witness and (if I’m lucky) maybe even be a part of the events within his life, no doubt being recognised in significant historical records in later years as “The one companion who was awesome but not quite awesome enough to match The Almighty OWM.” Legends have been made of his ability to shift mountains with nothing but a tap of his toe and it has also been said that anything he touches immediately increases its value a millionfold, so people, follow him around and grab anything he touches and go sell it on eBay to get rich The day he dies would be the day that the whole world would lament the loss of a great leader and wise master. And yet you are probably wondering, who is this man who makes the heavens sing of such wonderful deeds? It is none other than Samuel Kim, the almighty Yadhaven, the bringer of light, the one whom we all dearly love and who I am proud to say, is the greatest man who ever lived.

After half yearlies, Jisoo, Heesoo, Cheesecake
WRITTEN ON FRIDAY;

So sick of people & their incredibly important, non-existent problems.

Today was a good day however. Bio was major bs, just writing anything I could remember from reading over the notes the day before. It's after 3u maths so no one cares ahah & the prac was terrible; genuinely think I got under 50% for that but honestly don't care. A whole group went to Parra to watch Avengers but Angela & I decided we were too cool for them & had yummy yum cha at the new Phoenix place next to it. I felt so lost because I'm so used to Korean places so I let Angela order pretty much everything & it was all delicious. Jess Le kept meeting us & then disappearing again for some reason, haha that girl. Then, Nachan & Jess Zeng joined us but due to their lack of class, they decided to go get Maccas & we just sat around, talking about how much we loved The Voice & hated people. Also, had chive chips & Jess was debating on whether she wanted to eat more for like an hour or so. Seb & Jess Le came later & just chilled for a bit. Came back for musical which was pretty uneventful & Sarah & I went home & watched The Voice battles which were amazing. Like all those people should have a record deals, I would volunteer to be their manager to make millions of dollars.. Who let all those terribly untalented people become famous & overlooked these BRILLIANT, SHOWERED-WITH-TALENT ANGELS? Parents took us out to Strathfield & ate at Beauty & the Beast again & hopefully Criniti's on Sunday. It was so beautifully free to not have any exams & anything to worry about for this week & I was literally skipping & dancing through the streets of Stra :D

TODAY;

Felt so incredible to wake up late today & I was planning on doing my 3u speech in the morning but who am I kidding, it's the first morning where I had no exams to study for. I watched The Wild Thornberries [the one where the cheetah gets poached; Nigel Thornberry is my freaking hero] & then left for musical. We did pretty much nothing at musical I believe but a bunch of us [especially Chelsea, Michelle & Brittany] didn't stop singing "Call Me, Maybe" & I'm pretty sure that was sung much more than any musical songs haha. UMAT tutoring, bleh. Putting up with such a bs test for medicine. Seriously, it's so ridiculous but it's not that bad I guess. Also, decided I'd start studying for my Ls during the week & hopefully get them next Saturday. Got home to eat wollamsam with grandparents, James, Heesoo & her dad & grandma & Jane&Jisoo's family. It was really nice but Jisoo & Heesoo are the craziest little girls & they dragged me everywhere to play, especially since Sarah's a stoner who doesn't hope well with little kids due to being treated like the baby all her life. I also had to demand Sarah why she wasn't as cute as them two anymore. We filmed & lot of videos where Sarah was narrating & James was getting bashed by them. Also, Jane&Jisoo's family brought cheesecake which I think was the highlight of my day. Jisoo fell a lot & cried like 4 times in the span of the evening I believe. We played Twister for a long long long time with the kids screaming with laughter so James, Sarah, Jane & I were simply forced to keep going. Although, at some point, Sarah & James got super into it & were threatening/battling each other. Now, I'm really not in the mood to do 3u but I suppose I'll just have to suck it up & be a man. Sorry I'm lacking in deep thoughts. I'm so tired all the time, all I want to do is recount. I promise you, readers, I do possess thoughts...like what to eat tomorrow, you know, the usual.

I hope this was a sufficiently long post.

Tomorrow will be fun with combined service with the primary school & kindy kids.

OFF TO DO 3U ((: GOODBYE.

Friends
So 2u maths was demotivating & really not wanting to do 3u tomorrow. The point is, afterwards, & after a lovely game of basketball with some really aggro Greystanes girls, I talked with Dorothy down at the field for like an hour & it just really lifted my spirits. It was truly nice, she made me laugh like we used to in year 7 & we just talked about everything like we never get to because usually, we just pass & say hi & really superficial chitchat but today, it was like we never drifted. It made me really sad & nostalgic, realising that there was a time when we used to be best friends until we concluded that we still were. A lot of it was the personal business of others, our very long bucketlist/post-hsc list of everything we want to do when it's over but also about how, when it comes down to it, the people you trust the most aren't the people you see the most or talk to the most. You could not see a person for years & they'd still be the person you turn to when you really need someone. We thought of the 10 people we would keep in touch with after high school or who we trust the most & half of them weren't people I expected at all but they just came out without us really thinking about it. It seems very corny & obvious but when you think about it, humans are really strange with their instincts, habits & connections. It's special in a way. It was a lovely catch up time & I suppose this is a dedication to Do. Thank you for always being there even though neither of us are actually there, love you (:

ALSO, Samuel, would you like to write a long dedication post for yourself also so we can look like retards on our blogs, just praising the other ? :D

Unproductiveness
Hello children, apparently I'm supposed to be studying.
I think I'll give up the computer completely from now on.
Actually, don't hold me accountable for that, I'll probably be back on here tomorrow.
Point is, I need to stop wasting my life procrastinating.
Procrastinating on life is pretty bad.
